Jim’s experience includes selling a wide range of financial services and insurance products, managing $40 million loans, and overseeing accounts exceeding $1 billion. He played a pivotal role in transforming the sales culture at Zions Bank and First Security, broadening their vision beyond “small loans and checking accounts” to achieve multi-million and multi-billion dollar revenue growth.
In his role as Senior Vice President at Zions Bank, Jim’s strategic leadership led to the creation of a consultative, relationship-driven sales culture. His achievements include changing the Zions Insurance Group and founding the Government Relations division, adding significant revenue streams and achieving multi-billion dollar results.
Jim began as a sales representative at First Security Bank and grew into the role of Vice President, where he was instrumental in expanding business units such as Private Wealth Management, Private Client Group, and Capital Markets. He is actively involved in various boards and affiliations, contributing to community service and corporate citizenship. Notably, he received Zions Bank’s prestigious Roy Simmons Community Award in 2011 for his instrumental efforts in raising over $400 million for the construction of Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah.
